Many persons have asked that I give an explanation of
this Logo. Let me tell you how it came to be and its
spiritual significance. The idea for the Logo was part of
the inspiration that unfolded as I was writing my book,
In the Flow of Life. I have long been turned on by the teachings
of the ancient Greek philosopher, Plotinus, especially by
his words, "The whole Universe comes rushing streaming,
and pouring into me from all sides while I stand quiet."
This idea became the focal point of the book; and I
was led to depict it in the image of the Logo.
This powerful thought of Plotinus, whom I believe to be
a fore-runner of our modern metaphysical teaching, calls
for a new concept of God and a new awareness of our true
relationship in God. Plotinus' God-concept is impeccable.
The whole activity of God is present as a Presence, and
is experienced as a creative flow. The whole Universe is
concentrated at the point where you are. More than this,
you are the Universe expressing as you. You are its living
enterprise. Its full resources - symbolized by the Kingdom
of God within you-are radiating within you and flowing into
you from all sides.
The figure at the center of the Logo represents you. The
arrows (rays) represent the Universal Flow of life, of love,
of substance, of inspiration. Note carefully: the arrows
point both ways, indicating that the Flow both pours into
you and radiates out from you. No person and no thing is
outside of this Universal Flow of God.
You can use this Logo as a mantra in your meditation time.
As you hold its image in consciousness, feel yourself vibrating
with the energy of the Universe,and see yourself covered
by the mantle of God's Presence. In this awareness of Oneness,
you are not praying to God, you are praying from the consciousness
of God... and the answers or the help you seek will come
either from within or from without.
Let the symbol of the Logo be a vibrating image of Self-your
true God-Self. Feel its Reality, its high-frequency of energy
declaring Itself as you. In the stillness of your heart,
see yourself in and as the Logo and be aware that you do
not go anywhere to reach God... you are ever in the flow
of the Allness of God.
May this Logo become for you an ever-expanding experience
of your oneness in and as the One. As for me, I see it as
every person's spiritual portrait.
